Security Schools and Teenagers.

There was a recent hack to a school recently. Which makes me wonder if this is due to bad parenting or just curious kids? Who knows. But teenage hacking seems to be on the rise as well. I think it's more out of curiousity and what they can get away with.

This next article I read was based in Panther Creek High School.

The article states "
The 17-year-old student, who lives in Morrisville, was seen on security video sneaking into the school office after school on Oct. 22 and was later confronted by a teacher in a locked classroom with what appeared to be a laptop computer, according to the search warrant.
Two weeks earlier, the PowerSchool system, a state database that tracks student attendance and grades, at Panther Creek High was hacked into on three separate occasions, and the grades and class ranks of six students were changed."

This article reminds me of the 80's movie war games were the kid hacks into NORAD. That school must not have had very good security. Someone like a teenage kid can waltz into the school and get passcodes it's pretty scary in itself.
